Halloween personnal record?

Sun Nov 1, 2009, 7:11 AM
  • Mood: Tired
  • Listening to: Theory Of A Dead Man
  • Reading: Stochastic Orders and their applications
  • Watching: The Big Bang Theory
  • Playing: Rock band 2
  • Eating: Poutine
  • Drinking: Punch in a pumpkin
I'm just coming back from my last Halloween party. I say last, because it was the third one I had! First I was disguised as a sun for the mid-semester math association party (see posted pictures), next I had to be disguised as Waldo at my relatively new job (and of course, the cashiers were the only one disguised in the whole store), but the day went well. In the evening, I had a party with some friends at Three-Rivers where I was to be a monk warrior (last minute disguise taken from the time I used to play live Dungeon & Dragons).

It was a great evening. It ended at 4 in the morning.......after the hour setback. In fact, I had a great evening not because of the friends, the booze (punch in a pumpkin, pumpkin which of course ended its life on the street since my friend lives in an apartment on the second floor) or the nice Rockband session we had (and for the record, Rockband is still fun at 3 in the morning when most people are drunk, but the singer becomes more and more hurtful for the ears! XD), but because of the way I had to T-R.

A nice dark evening, great songs playing at CHOM (my CD didn't play at all, except during adverts), some kind of night where you don't feel the wind since its coldness force you to close the car windows, but where you know only by looking outside that it would be great to stop the car and walk a bit (which I didn't, since doing that on the freeway is kinda suicidal). And of course, the moon. Perfect for that night, beautiful, almost complete, sensual round and white moon. Weird how curves found in "nature" can be as sensual as feminine curves. Guess it's because they're both (most of the time) natural.

Oh, and Felicia Day (Penny in Dr. Horrible Sing-Along Blog) is in a Sears commercial. Weird. I can't wait for the sequel of Dr. Horrible!

Life is like a piece of abstract art. You can look at it all you want, but no matter what, you won't ever figure out what it is.

Drawings, paintings, writing, music, etc. As long as the creator enjoys him/herself, anything can be art.

Hey Thony!

Good to hear you're back safe and sound. I kept up with your emails and it sounds like you had an amazing adventure! I think it's awesome that you took and chance and followed your heart. If only I had the guts to do that, haha! I hope it was everything you wanted it to be :)

Hey Mike! Glad you liked my emails! ^^ I won't be back on the forums though, I had enough of that... Still, SatAM stays in my mind, but I don't consider myself a big fan anymore.

And believe me, following your heart is the best thing you can do with your life. You don't have to do what I have done though! ^^; Actually, I did this because I waited too long, so don't and act when you can! ;) Thanks again!

Bah, you don't have to hang out on forums or even talk about it a lot to still be a big fan. I've been less active online lately as well since I'm trying to prioritize, but I don't think it makes me any less of a fan. It's how it makes you feel that matters :)

Hello to you, fellow Rush fan!

You have a nice gallery! :meow:

Hope to see you again. XD

Thank you! Yeah, RUSH is one of the greatest band ever! :) As for the gallery, I don't update very often, but when I update, usually it is worth it! ;) Thanks for the watch!
